About the sector

The automotive sector is large and diverse, spanning many functions, such as design, development, and manufacturing, to mention a few. As manufacturers look for more sustainable, environmentally friendly vehicles, more and more companies in the sector are turning to aluminium for its recyclability, weight, and strength factors. As a result, the automotive sector is one of the fastest-growing sectors for aluminium, according to the Aluminium Anodisers Council.

Aluminium and Anodising in the Automotive  Sector

With the increasing use of Aluminium in automobiles, anodising is the natural process for long lasting protection for components such as wheels, roof racks, engine parts and interior trim.

Anodising's ability to produce various textures and colours gives car designers ample opportunity to continue corporate and model themes and to develop new identities.

Down Arrow
While you may possess some degree of familiarity with the properties of aluminium and the advantages of anodising, our objective is to facilitate the seamless transition from theoretical understanding to planning, execution through to application. We offer specialised guidance and insights into the anodising process, recognising its significant impact on crucial final outcomes, including colour, material thickness, surface finish, tolerances, and fit. Our wealth of knowledge empowers customers to leverage critical considerations often overshadowed until encountered as issues in later project stages.

We are dedicated to providing a global solution to the challenges of creating a corrosion resistant, environmentally friendly, sustainable and long lasting material for architectural applications anywhere in the world.

I am extremely pleased and proud to confirm that we successfully handed over the above project on time and with our client, Overbury plc, making the statement that our installation was ‘stunning!’

John Pretty, Director - Metalwork Services Limited

The subtle mix of gold anodised shades adds to this eye-catching transformation, which compliments the surrounding buildings and makes it the focal point of this busy Leeds thoroughfare. A great effort from everyone involved.

The project looks fabulous, and the challenging pressings are very consistent in fact looking as close as I could get I could not see any noticeable difference pressing to pressing.

A close relationship with United Anodisers has allowed us to understand the complex Anolok process. For instance, we understand where to jig to prevent ruining the anodising effect. The result?, A smooth client experience.”

This was the first anodised project that I was involved in. Collaboration between Sotech A2O Cladding and United Anodisers enabled us to produce colours in one batch, which also accounted for the smooth delivery of the project.

How to clone into other project?

  • Press "Ctrl + E" or "Cmd + E" in the Designer and enable "Select on-page element".

  • Search for the class named, "Cloneable Area".

  • Copy the element inside this container to your own project.

  • Rename the classes accordingly if they are clashing with your project.

  • Ensure custom code from the in-page setting has been copied into your project as well (if there's any).

  • 'Page Trigger' interaction can't be copied directly. You can only clone the whole project, or rebuild it.
A simple trick to copy the 'Page Trigger' interaction into another project is as below:

    1. Create a dummy element.
    2. Apply any type of 'Element trigger' into the dummy element and select the 'Page Trigger' animation.
    3. Copy the dummy element with the animations applied into your new project.
    4. The animation should have been copied into your project and you can reapply the 'Page Trigger' animation into your project.

  • If you have further inquiry or need assistance, feel free to contact us.

  • Lastly, please do not copy this project and claim it as your own. We wish to continue sharing and giving to the community. In order to do so, we will need your cooperation and full support. Thank you very much,
