The bronze finish that stands the test of time.
The Anolok® Bronze range embodies an authentic metallic sheen, lustre and feel with exceptional durability, enhancing the innate strength of aluminium against corrosion. Site durability of 50 years has been proven on previous projects which use the Anolok® Bronze anodising method.

How is the Anolok® Bronze range made?
The majority of metals are unsuitable for electro-colouring, with only cobalt, tin or nickel being feasible options. Tin processing is difficult to control, particularly in the darker shades, and the electrolyte is highly acidic which can lead to dissolution and poor abrasion resistance. Nickel-based colouring solution production of dark bronze is difficult and black is impossible.
Therefore Anolok® colouring using cobalt is the safest of all the commercially available bronze anodising processes. United Anodisers was granted an Anolok® license in 1971 by Alcan International and has processed more Anolok® bronze anodising than any company in the world outside Japan. Anolok®, is now a registered trademark of United Anodisers Limited.
In 1987, we introduced the Japanese "Unicol" colour matching technology into our colour anodising process. This dramatically improves the colour match piece to piece and is the only unit in Europe with this capability.
