A plastic-free and recyclable material.
Anodised aluminium offers further sustainability benefits over the lifecycle of a building in addition to its A1 fire rating. The panels themselves are entirely recyclable through simple re-melting with minimal loss on each cycle.
The recycling process requires only 5% of the energy used in the production of primary aluminium - a significant contribution to environmental sustainability at the end of a building’s natural lifecycle.
The lack of any additional coatings means anodised panels use fewer materials during production. The environmental impact is also lessened in the future as there are no paint or plastic coatings involved which can add microplastics to the local environment when they chip and degrade.
