The Majestic opened as a 2,400-seat super cinema in 1922. It was badly damaged by a fire in 2014 leaving a redundant shell and fragments of the interior. The Project Team, Client, City Planners, and Historic England transformed the iconic Grade II-listed building to give new life to a much-loved Leeds asset. The Majestic has been chosen as the new home of Channel 4, placing the Television network’s HQ in the heart of the city. United Anodisers had involvement with the project over a three year period.
