Pure Aluminium
We offer “pure aluminium” finishes. The anodic film is not an applied coating but a controlled growth of the naturally occurring oxide film.Thus, the finished natural anodised product has no added elements. Coloured finishes have a small addition of colour within the pores of the anodic film, but the presence is so insignificant that at the end of life, anodised coloured material can be recycled as pure aluminium.

Our History
United Anodisers was formed in 2007 from the integration of two major independent anodisers in the UK architectural finishing market, LHT Anodisers and Heywood Metal Finishers.
The combined strengths of the two companies made United Anodisers the company it is today, the largest independent anodising company in the UK, with a capability to anodise over 2 million sq m of high-quality anodised products per annum.
At the main Huddersfield site, the architectural anodising plant, established in 1961, has flourished over the last six decades through relentless improvement and investment. This dedication has not only Increased capacity but also enhanced consistency and quality, embracing the latest technology and instrumentation to reach new heights.

As a world leader in the surface treatment of aluminium, our unrivalled experience allows us to provide expert advice on selecting the appropriate metal and anodising treatment for panels and sheet.
Plant
Our process tanks have maximum dimensions of 7000mm (L) x 2000mm (W) x 450mm (D). Wider parts may be able to be processed depending on their geometry, so please contact our team to discuss your specific requirements. They will be able to advise on the maximum dimensions that can be anodised based on the shape of the products specified. Also, please note that where formed sheet is to be used, it is important that advice and agreement should be sought from our technical department at the design stage to ensure that sizes, joining methods, and other matters are considered and optimised to give best results.
Materials
All our colouring processes are carried out after the normal sulphuric acid anodising film is produced. Although all grades of aluminium can be anodised, there are specific features relevant to many of the grades.
For high-quality architectural products, we would recommend extruded material specified from 6063/6060 aluminium extrusions. For fabricated products, such as rain screen panels, we would recommend AQ-certified products such as Novellis J57sUP and Aluminium Duffel 55HX. Expanded mesh is a bespoke product generally using 1050 H14 and is widely used for car park cladding.
Planning
United Anodisers operate a forward forecast and scheduling system thus allowing customer's work to be booked into a production allocation before receipt, this enables us to give our customer's a completion date, thus assisting on site scheduling and

Sustainability
United Anodisers is committed to minimising its environmental impact through sustainable practices, focusing on three main approaches. First, all anodised products are fully recyclable and designed to last over 60 years. Second, in 2024, we invested in solar panels, and this year, we expanded our investment in a range of electric vehicles to further reduce our carbon footprint. Third, we utilise advanced heating and cooling technologies to cut energy consumption and strive to reuse or recycle old process plant materials whenever possible.

How to clone into other project?
Press "Ctrl + E" or "Cmd + E" in the Designer and enable "Select on-page element".
Search for the class named, "Cloneable Area".
Copy the element inside this container to your own project.
Rename the classes accordingly if they are clashing with your project.
Ensure custom code from the in-page setting has been copied into your project as well (if there's any).
'Page Trigger' interaction can't be copied directly. You can only clone the whole project, or rebuild it.
A simple trick to copy the 'Page Trigger' interaction into another project is as below:
1. Create a dummy element.
