This year marks our 50th anniversary as a Qualanod licensee. United Anodisers has held the licence continually since 1976, making us one of the longest-standing Qualanod licence holders in the world.
Few things show our commitment to quality better than this, and our track record of meeting and exceeding Qualanod standards is something we are extremely proud of.
We are one of a small number of manufacturers able to achieve this standard in Britain, and our product has become trusted around the world.
50 years of passing the quality test with flying colours
Retaining a Qualanod licence is a continuous task. This is not a quality mark which is earned once and never again. Independent inspectors visit each licensed plant multiple times each year without any notice to check the quality of the product and the manufacturing process.
We have passed every Qualanod inspection since first joining the scheme in 1976 with no gaps. This acts as independent assurance for architects, specifiers and developers who are looking for the highest quality anodised aluminium finishes.
Meeting and exceeding Qualanod standards – and having that level of performance verified independently – allows our clients to specify the highest possible quality of anodised aluminium finish with confidence by choosing United Anodisers.
Some projects which have benefitted from our Qualanod-approved finishes include:
